Listing your ebay Auction

You have edited your template and are ready to list your auction.

Bring your item to life with pictures

Adding your first picture for the Gallery . . .
You are already hosting your photos for your listing on your Image Hosting site, they are already within your template. Choose the photo you want to use for your Gallery Photo.
Click the Add pictures button . . .
The pop up page will have 3 tabs at the top . . . Click Self Hosting
Paste the Direct URL from your Image Hosting site there.
Make sure when you paste your URL .. http://----.jpg that you remove the http:// that is already in that box. If you have it in there twice the link to your photograph will be a broken link.
Click Insert Picture

Describe the item you're selling

There are 2 tabs - Standard and HTML
Click on the tab HTML and bring that one forward
Copy your template html from the  tag to the  tag and paste it into the box area.

NOTE:: With the New eBay Selling Format of 2007- you can not paste the <html> <head> <body> tags into the html section. You must copy from my beginning tag to ending tag.
You will get an "error" if you accidentally paste any extra html tags into eBay.

Click the Standard tab to see your listing and make any editing corrections needed. Don't be alarmed if you see slight lines in the top graphic, they will not show when your listing is submitted. If your template is pulled apart like puzzle pieces at the top your photos are to wide and have to be resized. Check your Image Hosting site to resize them.

Complete the rest of your information

You will be able to Preview your listing prior to submitting it.
You will see your complete template and your listing as it will appear online.
